| Height | Minimum height standard for male candidates is 157 cms and for female candidates is 152 cms. Height standards may be reduced by up to 05 cms for candidates having domicile of Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Garhwal, Kumaon and Sikkim. Relaxation of 05 cms is also applicable to Gorkhas. Height standards may be reduced by up to 02 cms for candidates having domicile of Ladakh, Lakshadweep & Minicoy Islands and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. |
| Chest | Chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed. Minimum chest circumference for male candidates should be 77 cm with chest expansion of at least 05 cm. For female candidates, the chest should be well proportioned with minimum expansion of 05 cm. |

| Tattoo | Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body. However, certain concessions are permitted to candidates belonging to tribal areas communities as declared by the Govt. of India. For other candidates, permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. |
