TNPSC Answer Key 2026 — Download & Raise Objections (Group 1, 2, 4, VAO)
Tentative & final answer keys, and how to challenge a wrong key
After every objective examination, TNPSC releases a tentative answer key, invites objections, and then publishes a final answer key used to score your paper. Knowing how to read and challenge the key can protect a mark or two right at the cut-off. This page explains the process and links to the official archive.
Where to get the official TNPSC answer key
All tentative and final answer keys and previous year papers are hosted on the official TNPSC site: tnpsc.gov.in — Answer Keys (archive from 2009 onwards).
Tentative vs final answer key
- Tentative key is published first; you can compute a provisional score.
- Objection window — candidates submit challenges online, with evidence, within the given dates.
- Final key is issued after an expert committee reviews objections; scoring uses this key.
How to raise an objection (step by step)
- Download the tentative key and note every answer you disagree with.
- Gather an authoritative source (NCERT/Samacheer/standard reference) for each.
- Submit the objection online within the window — TNPSC generally accepts online objections only.
- Wait for the final key; corrected answers apply to all candidates.
Note: Cut-off marks, dates and post lists change every recruitment cycle. The figures on this page are indicative, based on previous cycles. Always confirm the exact numbers in the official notification and result at tnpsc.gov.in.
